Service in the Wars of the 20th Century

Many Maryhill residents served their country in the wars of the 20th century.

To observe Canada 150 the Historical Society of St Boniface & Maryhill Community will honour veterans of the Twentieth Century Wars.

Three men paid the Supreme Sacrifice: Francis Gehl, Stanley Tschirhart & Alfred Yantz

One of Maryhill’s most famous sons to serve was Father Gehl. The Society has archival material for Father Gehl.
